2. Scope

These terms apply to every sale of stationery items, boxes and mail clubs (one-off purchase or subscription) to consumers. The customer accepts them before confirming their order. The customer’s own terms do not apply.

3. Products

Cassonade Club offers (a) stationery items and 2 (two) products as subscriptions:

  • (b) a stationery box, sold at a single price for its whole content. It is available as a monthly subscription, which can be cancelled (from the customer account or by email at hello@cassonade-club.com), or as a 3 (three) or 6 (six) month subscription. The customer chooses their options (binding, notebook size) when ordering and can change them until the 24th of the month before the box is shipped.
  • (c) a mail club, as a monthly subscription which can be cancelled (from the customer account or by email at hello@cassonade-club.com) or as a 3 (three) or 6 (six) month subscription.

The features of each product are given on its page at www.cassonade-club.com. Photos are not contractually binding.

4. Prices

Prices are in euros, VAT included. Any delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed.

5. Order and subscription

5.1. The order is firm and creates an obligation to pay once confirmed, subject to the right of withdrawal (article 8).

5.2. The subscription to the box or the mail club is taken out for 3 (three) or 6 (six) months or for an indefinite period (“monthly” plan).
The chosen duration and the price are shown before the order is confirmed.
The subscription is tacitly renewed every month for the chosen duration (3 (three) or 6 (six) months), or every month for the monthly plan.
An email is sent before each payment.

5.3. The 3 (three) or 6 (six) month subscription to the box or the mail club is a subscription for a set period, with a promotional offer tied to the length of that period. The customer therefore cannot end their subscription before the end of the chosen period.
When the 3 (three) or 6 (six) month subscription comes to an end, it is not tacitly renewed.
The customer keeps the right to exercise their right of withdrawal under the conditions of article 8.

5.4. For the monthly plan, the customer can cancel from their account or by email at hello@cassonade-club.com, with 7 days’ notice before the next due date. The cancellation takes effect on the following due date. Boxes already shipped remain due, subject to article 8.

6. Payment

  • Payment can be made by Bancontact, Visa, Klarna, PayPal or Apple Pay.
  • It is due when ordering, then on each due date for subscriptions.

7. Delivery

  • Cassonade Club delivers to Belgium and the other countries of the European Union.
  • Stationery items are shipped within 7 days.
  • Subscriptions are shipped by the 5th of each month at the latest.
  • Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed.
  • Box subscribers can choose shipping with the next edition: the order is slipped into the parcel of the next box, with no delivery costs.
  • The customer checks the parcel on receipt and reports any damage within 8 days.
  • Cassonade Club is not responsible for carriers’ delays.

Force majeure suspends Cassonade Club’s obligations.

8. Right of withdrawal

8.1. The consumer may withdraw, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days. This period runs:

  • for (a) stationery items: from the day after receiving the product;
  • for the monthly plan of (b) the box and (c) the mail club: from the day after receiving each box or mail club;
  • for the 3 or 6 month plan of (b) the box and (c) the mail club: from the day after receiving the first box or mail club.

The customer informs Cassonade Club of their decision in writing only, at hello@cassonade-club.com.

8.2. The customer sends the products back (unused and in perfect condition) no later than 14 days after communicating their decision. The direct costs of returning them are at their expense. Returns are not accepted, however, if the product has been used and/or damaged, or if items are missing from the box or the mail club.

8.3. Cassonade Club refunds all payments received within 14 days of receiving the product, using the same payment method.

9. Legal guarantee

Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity. In case of a defect, the customer writes to hello@cassonade-club.com with photos.

10. Retention of title

Products remain the property of Cassonade Club until paid in full.

11. Personal data

The data collected is used to process orders, deliver and invoice them. It is never sold and is kept as long as needed for these purposes, and for invoices, for the legal retention period of accounting documents. The customer can exercise their rights of access, rectification and erasure at hello@cassonade-club.com. More information in our privacy policy.

12. Complaints and disputes

Any complaint is sent to hello@cassonade-club.com, with an answer within 3 days. Belgian law applies. The courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, subject to consumer protection rules.
